From writing good to writing well
It’s hard to get good about writing. In William Safire’s Rules on ‘How to Write Good’ he knows whereof he speaks.
For instance, Rule 6: If I’ve told you once, I’ve told you a thousand times, “Resist hyperbole.”
And Rule 15: Don’t verb nouns.
