Did you know that during the planning for the Apollo moon missions, documenting the mission with television and photography was almost an after thought for NASA? Granted, they were doing something that had never been done before with technology that hadn’t been invented yet… but c’mon… what about a snapshot or two?
Today, we’ve grown accustomed to having a photo/video studio in our pockets. Snapping a photo is like taking in air. But the Apollo people were all about the mission – get to the moon and get home safely. If you have a moment to get a picture or two, cool.
