Century-old cinema still uses hand-painted movie marquee
The Filmtheater Sendlinger Tor in Munich, Germany opened in 1913. For the past 25 years the posters at the theater have been painted by one René Birkner, and are often completed in less than a night. Atlas Obscura has more on this gem.
