Ride the World’s Biggest Dive Coaster Now
The Valravn roller coaster at Cedar Point on Lake Erie, about 50 miles west of Cleveland opened this past weekend. It’s 223 feet high and reaches speeds of 75 mph. At the top of the first drop, riders are held for four seconds, looking down, before they fall 214 feet completely vertically.
That 90-degree drop is what makes the roller coaster a “dive coaster.”
Sit back, enjoy the terrifying ride.
