(via Popular Mechanics) Over the weekend, we got out first glimpse of a rare supermoon–a new or a full moon that is within 90 percent of its closest distance to Earth in its orbit. This one is pretty special because it’ll be the biggest one in almost 70 years, and the biggest we’ll see until 2034.
