What Did the Founding Fathers Eat and Drink as They Started a Revolution?

(via Smithsonian)  The Founding Fathers did not “gather around a grill,” as many Americans now do on Independence Day. They did, though, enjoy many foods and drinks still beloved today, as well as a few that might be declined if passed around at cocktail hour.
