These Detectives Fight Food Fraud

(via Great Big Story) Food fraud is a billion dollar industry. From horsemeat in your beef Bolognese to wood pulp in parmesan cheese, food fakers are more common than you might think. At Queens University in Northern Ireland, a group of researchers are dedicated to keeping the food industry honest. They call themselves “the food detectives” and Professor Chris Elliot is their fearless leader.
